The Rembrandts STEAM Foundation, also known as Team Rembrandts, is a Dutch non-profit organization that started as the first Dutch robotics team. Team Rembrandts (team 4481) is located in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) and consists from students with a different level of education. The students work together with an experienced group of mentors and senior students and have óne joint goal; achieving first place in the “FIRST Robotics Competition”.

Besides that they want to enthusiasm youngsters about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) by organizing events and learning activities that have a large technical aspect and are also attractive in other ways.

This is all possible with the help and support of partners like Vetipak. Vetipak is sponsoring Team Rembrandts because of the fit with their strategy; more innovation in the packaging world by adding robotisation. Next to that, they have the policy to offer young potentials more opportunities to gain experience within robotisation. “This global event is of course an excellent opportunity”, according to Chief Commercial Officer, Mark van der Burgt. “We have been involved in innovation in robotisation since 2012 and we have various applications in our factories at this moment. With this sponsorship it works both ways; on one hand we get in touch with even more young talent, on the other hand we can share our knowledge with this group and contribute to a potential victory!”

We wish Team Rembrandts a lot of success this coming period. We will keep you posted about the assignment and the performance of the team.
