TechnoFreak: unwrapped products in pouch bags

At Vetipak, we adore technology. As far as we’re concerned, you can’t over-automate! And we have robots do the work wherever possible. The result of this approach in our packaging lines is: smart, high-quality solutions. We always feature one of them in our TechnoFreak section, and this time it’s unwrapped products in pouch bags.

Via a weighing machine, products pass through the hopper to a packaging machine that makes a small plastic stand-up bag (with reclosable seal) and fills it immediately... not exactly an unusual route. However, what is unusual is that we can also process unwrapped products this way. Naturally, we adhere to all of the food safety requirements in doing so.

Solved: three thousand displays filled and delivered

The Vetipak site in Zeewolde is home to our successful long-term partnership with Bakker Logistics, part of the STEF group. It’s also where we work for Dynamic Products Factory, which develops creative products for the retail sector. We recently ensured that a multitude of party items in 3,300 displays reached their destinations with a well-known German retail chain. We joined forces to run the whole process from A to Z for D.P. Factory.

Expansion of co-packing activities for Kraft Heinz

In April, we opened our newest co-packing facility at Park 15 in Oosterhout, Gelderland. This Vetipak branch is located within the premises of our partner AG Logistics. Similarly to the AG site in Ede, we provide co-packing activities here on behalf of Kraft Heinz. The Oosterhout facility does this for their markets in the Nordic countries, the Middle East and Africa, as well as other export countries.

Vetico on tour: from Monaco to Vienna, via Cannes
