The regional business journal Bedrijvig Oss has published a comprehensive article about the ‘sense and nonsense of tenders’. The article featured in-depth interviews with two experts: Pim Ketelaars from innovation agency Hello New Day and – for the local perspective – our own CCO Mark van der Burgt. The gist of Mark’s story is: tenders definitely make sense, as long as the focus is on making a difference together.
Audit FSSC2200: food safety guaranteed
Food safety is of course an important theme at Vetipak. That is why we are proud of the positive results of the FSSC2200 audit, which independently tests us against it.
The FSSC2200 audit of the ISACert certification body took place at our locations in Oss and Veghel at the end of June. The audit is specifically aimed at food safety. We have been tested against the newly released standard versions of the FSSC22000 (V5) en ISO22000 (2018). These standards focus in particular on the PDCA cycle and on risk-based thinking, both at the level of the overarching management system and the operational HACCP plan.
Of course there was a strict corona protocol. For example, interviews in the production environment were replaced by remote demonstrations. Thanks to these measures, we were able to go through the planned audit program completely and the auditor obtained a good overview.
And the result? As expected, it was very positive. We were given a few small minors for improvement, which we of course immediately addressed. Another result we are proud of!
